BIO
As a native of Tuscaloosa, Caroline graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Honors College degree from The University of Alabama. During undergrad, Caroline was the SGA Director of Academic Integrity, an Academic Honor Council Justice, a University of Alabama Representative for the Alabama Broadcasters Association, and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. During school, Caroline worked for The University of Alabama System Office of the Chancellor, The University of Alabama Office of Counsel, and The University of Alabama Office of the President.
After graduation, Caroline pursued her dream of becoming an attorney by attending Birmingham School of Law (BSL) in Birmingham, Alabama. During law school, Caroline was a member of the Judge Hugh Locke Honor Society. Caroline graduated from BSL in December of 2018 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in April of 2019. She is admitted to practice before any state court in Alabama, as well as, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama.
Caroline’s practice is primarily focused on domestic relations, family law, and bankruptcy. She represents clients in all stages of these types of cases.
Caroline is a second-generation attorney and is the daughter of Bob and Ginger Cockrell of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is married to Scotch Ritchey.
