BIO
Scotch Ritchey graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama. After graduation, Scotch pursued his dream of becoming an attorney by attending Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama.
During law school, Scotch was the Cumberland Law Review Acquisitions Editor and was Vice President of the Third Year Class of the Student Bar Association, while graduating in the top of his class. Scotch was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 2017. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, as well as, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Scotch’s practice is primarily focused on personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, business fraud, and divorce and family law. He represents clients in all stages of these types of cases.
Scotch also serves on the Alumni Board of Trustees of The University of Alabama Delta Chi Chapter. He is a third-generation attorney and is the son of Greg Ritchey, an attorney of Birmingham, Alabama. He is married to Caroline Ritchey.
