Argo, AL – One Killed in Car Crash on US Route 11 near MM 159

Argo, AL (December 27, 2023) – A 21-year-old man lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that took place in St. Clair County on Monday evening, December 25. The incident occurred at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Reports from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency indicate that 21-year-old Jaden Hairston was riding a motorcycle on US Route 11 during the evening hours. As he proceeded near the area of mile marker 159 on the roadway, his vehicle was struck by a pickup truck driven by 43-year-old Alan Thomas. Hairston was severely hurt in the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased due to his injuries. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
