Birmingham, AL – Man Dies After Hit-and-Run Crash on Finley Blvd

Birmingham, AL (November 18, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on Thursday evening in northern Birmingham, resulting in the death of an adult male. The incident, reported by the Birmingham Police Department, took place around 5:23 p.m. on Finley Blvd, between 16th St and 17th St North.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, the victim was crossing Finley Blvd when he was struck by a vehicle that immediately fled the scene. Emergency responders quickly arrived, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at 5:38 p.m.
