Fatal Motorcycle Accidents in Birmingham

Motorcycle accidents continue to be a significant concern in Birmingham, with Alabama recording over 900 traffic fatalities in 2023. Despite motorcycles making up only 3% of registered vehicles, they are involved in 12% of fatal crashes, highlighting the risks motorcyclists face on the road.

In Alabama, surviving family members can file wrongful death claims when an individual dies due to another party's negligence. These claims help compensate for losses such as funeral expenses and emotional distress. Alabama law allows only two years to file a wrongful death lawsuit, so it's crucial to seek legal advice promptly to ensure proper legal action is taken.
