Calhoun Co, AL (February 5, 2025) – A tragic pedestrian accident took place on Monday evening in Calhoun County, resulting in the death of a 61-year-old man. The ALEA reports that Herbert M. Blair, a resident of Oxford, was walking on the roadway when he was struck by a 2016 Nissan Maxima. Following the initial impact, Blair was hit again by a 2017 Honda HR-V. Emergency medical crews were dispatched to the scene, but Blair was declared dead shortly after their arrival.
