Cullman Co., AL – Ellarea Dickson Killed in Car Crash on US- 31 Highway

Cullman County, AL (May 27, 2024) – A 77-year-old woman lost her life as a result of a multi-county police chase that ended in a serious motor vehicle accident. The collision occurred at around 7:35 a.m. on May 24.

 

Official reports indicate that the Hartsell Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle on US Highway 31 during the early morning hours. The vehicle swerved in the right lane for unknown reasons and fled the officer at high speed. As the vehicle proceeded forward, it crashed into at least one other vehicle.
