Dale Co, AL (December 27, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian crash occurred Thursday night on Highway 27 near Ozark when a pedestrian was hit by a car. The incident, reported by the Dale County Coroner’s Office, took place around 8:30 p.m., leaving the local community in mourning.
According to Dale County Coroner John Cawley, the victim, 73-year-old Willie Earl Jones of Ozark, was hit while walking along the highway.
