Hanceville, AL – Sydni Helms, Second Victim Killed in AL-91 Crash
Hanceville, AL (September 18, 2023) – Two people lost their lives in a motor vehicle collision that occurred in Cullman County on Saturday morning, September 16.
At around 5:30 a.m., troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency responded to the scene of an automobile accident that occurred on Alabama 91.
Reports indicate that a head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on the roadway just a few miles outside of Hanceville. The incident prompted ALEA to shut down the road while assisting.
One person involved in the accident, identified as 22-year-old Syndi Helms, was fatally injured. Helms was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second victim, who has not been identified to the public, was also pronounced deceased on-site due to their injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
