Mobile, AL – Bicyclist Loses Life in Moffett Rd Crash at Pine Grove Ave

Mobile, AL (January 10, 2024) – A bicycle accident reported in the Mobile area on Tuesday morning claimed one person’s life. The Mobile Police Department, firefighters, and police responded to the scene of the accident on January 9.

According to official reports, a 54-year-old was riding a bicycle eastbound through the intersection of Moffett Road and Pine Grove Avenue. At the same time, a vehicle was traveling west on Moffett Road. As the driver attempted to make a left turn at the intersection, the vehicle collided with the bicyclist. The male bicyclist was fatally injured as a result of the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by authorities. At this time, the Mobile Police Department is investigating.
