Montgomery, AL – Everett Knight Cole Killed in E Old Haynesville Rd Crash

Montgomery, AL (September 4, 2023) – A crash reported in South Montgomery County claimed one man’s life.


The accident occurred at around 6:00 p.m. on September 1.


According to reports from the Alabama law enforcement agency, two vehicles collided on East Old Hayneville Road just 12 miles outside of Montgomery city limits.


A passenger in one of the vehicles, identified as 74-year-old Everett Knight Cole, was fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.


A 17-year-old involved in the accident was transported to a local hospital for emergency care.


The accident is actively being investigated.
