Tuscaloosa, AL – Teens Killed in Car Crash on Highway 69
Tuscaloosa, AL (September 25, 2023) – Two 17-year-old victims have died as a result of a car crash that occurred In the Tuscaloosa area on Saturday evening, September 23.
Reports from the Alabama State Troopers show that at around 10:30 p.m., a 2005 Nissan Maxima was involved in a collision while traveling on Highway 69. The crash caused the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a ditch.
The vehicle was occupied by four students from Paul W Bryant High School.
The individuals in the vehicle were all injured. One 17-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene due to their injuries. The remaining three victims were transported to area hospitals.
Authorities confirmed that one additional victim, also 17 years old, passed away after arriving at the hospital.
The two other victims, ages 17 and 18, were admitted in unknown condition.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
